About Dr. Ritu Saini
Dr. Ritu Saini is a board-certified dermatologist with specialized training in Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer and cosmetic dermatology.
After college at the University of Pennsylvania, she went on to complete medical school at New York University and residency in dermatology at the University of Miami. She then obtained a competitive Mohs surgery and procedural dermatology fellowship in her native New York.
She has had a successful dermatology practice, NY Medical Skin Solutions, with offices in Midtown Manhattan and Queens, since 2009.
Dr. Saini is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and fellow member of many medical societies including the American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs surgery and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
She has lectured nationally and internationally at medical conferences and has been published in many peer-reviewed journals in topics ranging from the treatment of psoriasis and skin cancer to dermal fillers.
She currently is an Assistant Clinical Professor at New York University and director of Dermatologic surgery at the St. John’s Hospital dermatology residency program in Queens, NY.
With over a decade of experience, she is considered a renowned expert in cutaneous oncology, as well as the aging body and face. Dr. Saini has appeared in media outlets like New Beauty, Glamour, Pop Sugar, Shape, Insider and CBS to provide her expertise in such areas as skin cancer, skin care, acne, and cosmetic dermatology Her interests in minimally-invasive skin rejuvenation include injecting botulinum toxin and fillers and using many lasers and devices for sun damage, rosacea and broken blood vessels, skin tightening, cellulite, body contouring, acne scars, wrinkles, and hair loss. She is on the cutting-edge, always learning new techniques and modalities to better serve her patients. She believes in a holistic approach to rejuvenation- maintaining balance and proportion to help her patients look fresher, more youthful, yet natural.
